Shyam, let us call him Shyam. He is a reality show host - the scary kind. No, he is not hosting any news panel, but is running a show about ghosts. Or rather he is trying to demonstrate people that ghosts may not exist at all.
In each episode, he goes to a location which is supposedly haunted. Spends the night there alone after setting up cameras all over the place. In each of the 99 episodes, he is unable to spot a ghost.
But then an angry fan Mahantesh challenges him to visit haunted house owned by him. This house has the reputation that any one who goes there, becomes insane and dies mysteriously. And the owner himself seems little bit off.
But TRP is all that matters to the producer of the show and he compels Shyam to accept the challenge and visit the haunted house.
Shyam collects the keys from the Mahantesh's brother and goes to the house. And then starts all kinds of scary events. The show starts with lights getting turned on by themselves. Then there is a hand which appears from bathroom wall and tries to grab Shyam.
Then he sees his girlfriend Amritha. And next a murder being committed. Then he sees Amritha giving birth to a child. In few moments he hears the voice of that child calling him. The child keeps growing and asking Shyam to carry him. Until the child is a grown man.
And finally Shyam dies from extreme fear.
Second part of the story brings a detective who tries to investigates this strange case.
And he uncovers the truth about family feud, drug abuse among other things.
But wait, now Shyam is not dead. He miraculously survives his cardiac arrest. He recovers and asks us whether he really saw ghosts in his 100th episode.
