Lockdown 3.1
Who would have thought that the lock down will have a version number - with a major and minor number ? :)
Any ways from today the extended - extended lock down has started. But we must accept the fact that the lock down might have to a large extent contained the virus. Compare our numbers with those of developed countries in western Europe of US of A!
Yes, the lockdown 3.0 has started and the center put us - the Bangaloreans in red zone. So many of the relaxations would not have been applicable to us. Then the state put our wards in green zone so that many relaxations will apply. Then RWA put more constraints in place. :)
But life looks much better - or freer. I see some vehicular movement in the fly over. Better at what cost? Don't ask that question, please. At this point we are willing to face any thing in place of lock down.
More over we can not keep our metropolitan cities under lock down for ever (ignore the exceptions). And let the economy and poor people succumb to not corona but poverty and hunger.
It will take months or years for us to recover. All the migrant labor who were stopped from leaving towns and cities and now allowed to go back, will they ever return? To build our houses, our roads and metros? If they don't who else will build our cities? Us?
And will our entire planet become "jungle raj" because it is the mighty who survive?
