That there are 3 lokas in this universe- bhooloka inhabited by mortals (us humans), swargaloka where Gods reside and patala loka where rakshasas reside.
That's what the police inspector says in the Amazon prime Hindi serial "Patala loka". Patala loka is where keede (insects) or poor people live. They live and die like insects - nobody bothers about them. But people bother about them only when they are central characters of a large conspiracy. A conspiracy to "assassinate" (his own words) a TV journalist Sanjeev Mehra. No, not by throwing ink on his car, but actual murder which involves guns and hired assassins.
Sanjeev Mehra runs is a news anchor. But is surprisingly honest. And unsurprisingly has many powerful enemies. And his boss wants him to quit. But why would any one want to murder this journalist - he is after all a bhooloka vasi? And by the way, he finally realizes his folly and accepts that TRP of the channel and his survival are more important than trivial issues like truth and honesty.
The four people arrested for this conspiracy are Hathoda tyagi, chini and two others. The inspector investigating this case - Hathiram Chaudhary comes to know that Tyagi has murdered 45 people so far and Chini is a China a cross dresser. But Tyagi is reticent and Chini cries all the time. So inspector goes in search of the story of these four people but gets only dead ends.
In the mean while, the news of Chini being a man leaks to press and because of the bungle up, Chaudhary is suspended and case is handed over to CBI.
CBI gets plenty of leads and many guns and passports - of course from Pakistan. So it is after all a terror plot from across the border. The LeT want to kill famous journalists. Why would they want to do that? Aren't these sicular journos deshadrohi - similar people?
Any ways CBI gets some guns and ammunition, passports and jihadi material from a flat supposedly owned by one of the suspects. And explains all these in a press conference.
