Fallen fruit
The only other noun which receives this adjective is woman. And I am furious - why fallen woman, why not fallen man. As we all know too well, men are more likely to fall than women, both literally and figuratively. Let us stop being Femi-nazi for awhile and continue to talk about fallen fruit. This year the king of fruits - mango, has given his blessings on us too well. Very many fruits were plucked, eaten, sold etc etc. But what of the fruits fallen from the tree - not plucked wantonly by us? In the early days - the fallen mangoes were too small and too numerous to pay any attention. But then they grew in size and importance. So I followed these guidelines for these fallen fruits.
