Boston Legal

 I was trying to watch Boston Legal on the iPad, while trying to complete sudoku in the mobile after a failed attempt and trying to tune out news channel discussion on TV. And Denny Crane and Alan Shore are sitting on their balcony sipping expensive whisky and smoking cigars. 

Do not judge these lawyers and their expensive life styles. They all have their own personal hells. 

Denny crane was a senior lawyer with a great legacy, but now he is struggling with early stages of Alzheimer's disease. Since he is scared of that, he tries to deceive others and self calling it mad cow disease. He forgets most things and he is still working in company because of his legacy and because he is the Crane of "Crane Poole and Shmidt". 

His friend and buddy Alan Shore is neither old, nor ill. Very talented lawyer, one who can argue and win any difficult case. He is polar opposite to Denny in political opinion, as he is neither racist nor sexist, is quite liberal. He was married and divorced and has no one to call his own. May be except for Denny. Though quite liberal in his views and respects women, as Shirley tells him - he is still a dog. 

And then there is Jerry. Jerry has Asperger's and he is devoid of much social skills. He purrs, jumps a little if excited. He wanted to study very hard, and join Oxford, thinking then he will not be ridiculed and bullied. That did not happen. Then he thought he will study hard become a lawyer, join a successful law firm. He did that but still was being ridiculed. So each and every day is struggle for him. 

So don't think that you will be set if you become rich and successful. Life is a struggle - for everyone.
