Learn sanskrit from home
My latest fad - this app called - vyoma - learn sanskrit from home.
The organization behind the app and website is doing a wonderful work. They have a large number of courses on sanskrita - both grammar and sacred texts. Most of them are free and have zoom classes and videos of these available for later consumption.
I normally find it boring to watch any youtube video - unless it is political or comedy. But these are different - the teachers teach the topics with plenty of explanations and plenty of examples. And they teach in simple sanskrit with little bit of English too.
And there is another advantage - they train people for Sanskrit examinations of other organisations like Sanskrit Bharathi, Chittor Sabha etc.
So I am currently trying to learn tenses of verbs, sandhi and samasa and enjoying the classes immensely.
I felt so confident and courageous that I visited back my Ashatavakragita blog and tried to understand the verses - and words without the help of online translation. First few verses atleast seemed much easier.
