Intelligence of a machine

 There is this foliage plant called caladium plant in my garden - a plant which requires minimum care. That is the reason it is surviving in my garden. 

But the best part is there are two leaves   twice as big as my feet. Not in my garden, but in the empty site next to us. I rather not click its photo as it may offend the neighbors on the other side of the site. They may mistake my effort as clicking their home or their family. 

And also the sun plays such a light and shade game on the plants, on the walls. The sun shine in this semi-rainy season is beautiful. Because Sun knows we are appreciating him rather than cursing him.

As we age, we start appreciating brighter colors more (like we appreciate louder noises more ;) ;) - for similar reasons). Does that indicate even our eyes are functioning subpar? In spite of paying thousands to lensmakers each year? 

Or is it learned helplessness? I always pinch and make the letters quite huge to read and write them. That is OK, as long as the letters are stretchable. In my Gita class, I struggle to read the verses - normal sized verses and read slightly better than school kids studying in English medium - very slightly better. The book is not pinchable - sadly. 

I even tried searching the verses online and saving on laptop. But a device a gadget opened during a class reduces our attention by 90% - as you are all well aware of.  Next I tried writing them on a notebook - 4 verses of that day's class in a notebook. 

Funny I remember how to write my mother tongue! Funny I remember to write with pen on paper. 

So thanks to mobiles, even senior people like us do not use pen and paper and book and newspaper. Makes me wonder whether these tech people developing newer and smarter ways to dumb us down are conspiring with politicians. 

I verified - it appears the average IQ has reduced by 3 points per decade in economically advanced countries. 

Great! Wait for the days when we become slaves to machines. 

In so many different ways we are trying to stupidify ourselves. We don't move - unless to eat and drink more and more. We don't socialize - unless it is spitting venom online in  social media platforms defending our political party. We don't read, don't sing, or listen to music, don't eat healthy, don't sleep properly.
