Abbalige

The abbalige from my childhood - kanakambara is

blooming in a tiny little pot. The plant is not thriving as per se. But it is healthy enough to bloom. And I am so very happy. 

The tiny pots - smaller than 6 inch diameter placed on the compound wall receive less sun shine and of course have very less soil. But they bloom better than the larger pots placed on the terrace. With sunlight shining throughout the day, and much bigger pots, these plants don't thrive. 

Maybe my plants are also like me - give more importance to 'bahya adambara' - demo versions are more important. What they show to the world is important.
