Dharma Kshetra

 Does dharma Kshetra come before kurukshetra or after? Or if dharmakshetra had taken place before, there would never have been a Kurukshetra?

Anyways, this serial in Netflix called Dharmakshetra is happening afterwards. After everyone is dead and in the other world.   Complete with judge who is Chitragupta and a witness box and everything. 

I have a doubt. In the after life, all our limitations and challenges are cured. Or that's what I thought. So why does Dhritarashtra still blind causing his wife to still wear eye mask? 

Coming back to the series , the first accused is Draupadi. No surprise in that either. We always accuse the victim, don’t we? 

Everyone - Kunti, Gandhari and Duryodhan blames Draupadi and hold her responsible for the war. But Duryodhan has valid question - the person who bet her and lost her in the gambling was her own husband, not Duryodhan. Then why did she take an curse the Kauravas and took an oath to destroy them? Is it because pati is parameshwar, even the gambler and wife-better pati?  

Krishna jumps to her help here too and defends her. He reminds Duryodhan how he asked her to sit on his lap. That horrendous insult, in the crowded hall, in front of all elders, in front of her five husbands. And no one spoke one word in protest. 

If you ask me, she should have killed Duryodhan then and there, not waiting for her five husbands or war. 

Anyways, the first episode was ok. Not comparable with the original Mahabharata, but ok.
