ye baat kuch hazam....

You must have seen those advertisements. Yes, there used to be advertisements in TV programs. There were no options to skip them.

Ye baat kuch hazam nahi hui - This  is difficult to digest.

That was my feeling while watching the serial Indian murder in 'The great Indian murder'.

There is very very bad man called Vicky Rai. He kills two young girls. He kicks a film actress in front of all the people. I think, he likes to kick people. Then as the karma is a b****, he is killed in his own party.

OK, if not criminal justice, it is divine justice. Accepted. But the story gets weirder and weirder. A tribal man and a petty thief are arrested with guns in the crime scene. Why would either of them want to kill, a businessman and son of a minister?

And we come to know that this petty thief was carrying a gun for his own protection. And the tribal man had come all the way from Andaman islands in search of their God - an idol. Which was stolen by a welfare officer.

But as the thief says there are so many people who wanted Vicky Rai dead - the whole nation wanted him dead. He is a spoiled brat of a minister, who abuses people, is cruel towards them, who is willing to 'supply' women to African businessmen to seal his business deal - that is when he had kicked the film actress as she had declined his ugly offer.

OK, so far it's weird, but not improbable. In our land of 'culture'. Story of the next suspect is too much. This man is retired IAS officer - he is seen in the party, wearing Gandhian clothes. And the gun found in the crime scene is registered in his name.

Turns out - this 'Mohan' has developed a split personality disorder recently. When he thinks he is Gandhi, he behaves like him - is for all non-violence, satya, dharma etc. But when he is his real self, he is selfish, corrupt, his an extra marital affair, abusive towards his driver and wife too. Why did he go to Vicky's party with a gun? If he believed he was Gandhi, why did he shoot?

Don't worry. There are even stranger facts. The petty thief turned out to be Vicky's sister's boy friend. He had come to the party to take her to the airport so that she can go to London. Of course, she was exploiting his feelings and had a boy friend.

I forgot to mention what made me angry. There is a police officer named Sudha Bharadhwaj who is corrupt, who had helped to acquit Vicky in his murder case. Sudha Bharadhwaj - really? You wanted to use that name, the name of social worker, a lawyer, who was arrested without any proof and was kept in jail without bail for  2 years? Why?
