Blogging IS creative

Why would I want to write something when the day is over and it is pitch dark -some where (It will never be pitch dark in cities)? Because I have come to the conclusion that the only way I can be happy is if I do something meaningful with my time.

Is this blogging meaningful? May be, may be not.  But this is better than netflix or youtube-shorts.

But don't you just blame Youtube for all evils or just dismiss it as useless, algorithm controlled time-pass for lazy people. Youtube has taught me many ways of relieving my leg/ankle/back/knee pains. It also taught me how to walk from home (that IS really worthwhile). It  also tells me political events happening in other countries. It tells me so many genius(?) hacks - like how to thread a needle, how to use hair clips, how to make a knot, how to cook many dishes.

But seriously, it relaxes my mind. A little bit.

But how long can we watch 'genius' hacks? How long can we watch the same lame jokes? How long can I watch murder mysteries and in return get nightmares?

I thought instead of this mind clutter,  I will read some articles from substack. But that takes too much time and effort. And almost impossible to this addled brain. So is reading a book. Even using the speak mode in the laptop for reading the book is dull and irritating.

So now I go instead to my terrace and start cleaning. That is one never ending process - what with the rain and leaves and dust. I also get the satisfaction of recycling the leaves - I put them back in the pots - free fertilizer!

By the way, if you know any other method of killing time  utilizing time which does not cost me a single paisa, and which does not involve interacting with people, let me know.
