Role models

We all need some role models. In all stages of life. 

When we are kids, we look upto our parents, imitate them and want to be them. After certain age, we idolise our teachers. Then may be film stars. Or may be some religious gurus.

But I hadn’t come across people in awe of a political person, being his fans and willing to die for him. Not even Gandhiji was adored like this by people of post independence India. 

Now suddenly people are literally becoming devotees of this party and its leader. Why and how? Difficult to fathom.
